PRIDE WEEK NYC

DP/FILMMAKER

16mm filmmaking is a format that has made a big come back in the last 5 years. As an alternative to larger formats like 35mm film, 16mm is more accessible for independent and experimental filmmakers looking to capture moments using light, physics, chemistry and that unique film magic of being present and in the moment. This event was one of those magic moments with some remarkable protagonists of the NYC QTPOC scene.

THE GOOD TERRORIST

CINEMATOGRAPHER

Visual artist based in NY, Marie Karlberg invited me to shoot her film "The Good Terrorist" (2021) last year. The film is Karlberg's directorial debut and a joyful experiment with a cast of talented artists and dancers. My inspiration to shoot this film was the "Goldfish Game" by The Needcompany.

The film premiered at Greater New York 2021-2022 exhibit, MoMA PS1.

"ALL INCLUSIVE BOSTON" CAMPAIGN

VIDEOGRAPHER

The goal of the campaign is to increase awareness, and drive trips to Boston’s neighborhoods from diverse local and regional visitors, while supporting the public health guidance that is in place. The team was charged with highlighting attractions and events that speak to the experiences of people of color in Boston, and the campaign highlights many local minority-owned and run businesses and organizations.

A diverse mix of small businesses worked on this project, including a significant number of Minority Business Enterprises (MBE’s), Women Business Enterprises (WBE’s), and companies with LGBTQ+ ownership.
